The 2018 Spring Dance is March 24th at the ICC in Canton from 7-11pm. Music will be provided by Margaret Dalton and Erin’s Melody. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door. Please join us for a great evening.

We are looking into dates in the Spring 2018 for another volunteer event at the Greater Boston Food Bank. Details and a sign up sheet will be available at the Spring Dance.

The 2018 Leitrim Society Memorial Mass will be held at the ICC on Sunday April 8th at 11am with and Irish breakfast following the mass for $15.

Members need to renew their membership for 2018 for the Society. Dues remain the same- $20 per family and $10 per individual member.

Francis J Hartigan passed away on January 18th. We would like to extend our condolences to PJ, Breda and Colette Hartigan on the loss of their brother. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

There was a benefit held in New York for Lisa Cullen, native of Drumkeeran, and baby Kayden on February 11, 2018. A donation was made to this worthy cause on behalf of the Leitrim Society. If anyone wishes to make a further donation to this worthy cause, go to this GoFundMe page for information.

The next meeting will be held at the Adams Corner Cafe and Butcher Shop, 782 Adams Street, Dorchester, MA. on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend and most of us arrive early for dinner. We’d like to thank the Adams Corner Café for the generous use of the back room for our meetings. They have been gracious hosts and the food is outstanding! You can have an Irish breakfast (with homemade Irish sausage) for dinner!!
