The meeting was held on September 12th, 2017 at The Adams Corner Café and Butcher Shop at 782 Adams St., Dorchester.

Present – Derek Mawn, Jim Gallagher, Mark Fitzpatrick, Ita McGrath, Noel Murphy, Jimmy Keaney, Charlie Mawn.

The Christmas Party is booked for December 10, 2017 at the ICC. Details will follow. Keep the date in your calendar!

We are looking into dates in the Fall 2017 for another volunteer event at the Greater Boston Food Bank.

If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2017 for the Society, a copy of the registration form is available on our membership page  which you can download and submit to us, all details are on the form. Dues remain the same with $20 per family and $10 per individual member.

Following the untimely death of our longtime friend and member Patrick Murphy, the society have made a donation to assist Patrick’s wife and children by donating to a fund setup for their benefit. If anybody would like to contribute a personal donation you may do so by submitting it to
Murphy Children’s Education Funds, c/o Edward Manning, 19 Ryan Dr. Norwood, MA 02062. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a ainm.

The next meeting is October 3th at 7.30PM. It will be held at the Adams Corner Café and Butcher Shop at 782 Adams St., Dorchester.  You must walk through the shop to reach the room at the back. They serve food. We would be delighted to have you join us!
